NEA & Movies
NEA has been blessed to present early previews of some of the finest Catholic Christian movies produced in recent years.
The January 2003 conference featured a preview of Catholic great Leonardo Defilippis’ beautiful and stirring true story of St. Thérèse of Lisieux. Many in the audience of NEA attendees, which included Bishops and Archbishops from around the world, were moved to tears by the masterful retelling of "The Little Flower’s" journey to sainthood in the movie Thérèse.

In January 2004, NEA hosted a special preview of The Passion of the Christ, by Mel Gibson, with the film’s star, Jim Caviezel as special guest. Caviezel shared his personal testimony of his return to the Faith and the making of the movie.
The 2007 NEA Conference once again played host to a "winner" with the special preview of Bella - winner of both the Toronto Film Festival and the Heartland Film Festival. NEA’s exclusive Dallas preview of Bella featured the film’s star, Eduardo Verástegui, and producer, Leo Severino.
